I kept my neighbors little boy tonight, and we made cookies together. I have enjoyed an evening watching Charlie Brown and A Troll in Central Park with a 3 year old, and a fish. This poor fish, it's a miracle I noticed it when I did. Stacey has been rather busy lately and she forgot about this poor fish and he was sitting in a tupperware bowl where he's been for a couple of days while she was intending to clean out the fishbowl. We cleaned out the bowl and freed the fish from the tupperware, and I swear I saw the fish smile. He was so happy he just swam around in his big bowl as if he was celebrating. Following the freedom of the fish, I am currently working on homework and I decided to take a break and blog a little bit. Talk later

Oh how true these words are. It's amazing the things that you can learn from being around a child. Somehow as we age we seem to forget about the joy of eating chocolate chip cookies with milk while watching cartoons, how exciting it is to get a new toy, the true pleasure found when you're with friends, and the comfort that can be found in our family, particularly our mothers ;)
